Top 5 Fall Favorites

Top Five Favorite things about the Fall Season...

1.) The gorgeous colors!
2.) The smells of apples, cinnamon, and pumpkin
3.) The cool, fresh, invigorating air
4.) The fun decorations: pumpkins, gourds, scarecrows, hay, mums etc.
5.) Fresh apple cider! YUM!

Now, as I have mentioned before...fall is my favorite season, so I could probably go on and on with a list a mile long for this season. However, I said I would be doing my top 5 favorites for each season, so here it is for fall. I would love to hear your top 5 favorites too! You can email them to me (ljlavan08@yahoo.com) and I can post them as a follow up post to this; or if you don't wish for it to be posted you could simply specify that in your email. You also could just list it in the comments box to this post! Either way I would love to hear your input! :0)

Snap Shots

Yesterday was a beautiful day so I thought we should take the opportunity and take some pictures...my sweet husband wasn't really thrilled with the idea, but he cooperated anyways...:0)
Most of the shots are on the "ladies" property next door LOL I don't think they would mind though... :0)

Special Visitors

Sunday afternoon I looked out our kitchen window and in our back yard was a little fawn that still had its spots!! I was so excited and of course, summoned my husband to get the camara. As we watched, another fawn appeared! Pretty soon the third one picked its way out of the woods! How adorable they were! They stayed there some time--long enough for a pretty good photo shoot, then disappeared back into the woods to find there mama...

Happy Belated Birthday!

Usually I like to post a happy birthday note on our blog for those in our family...However, we were out of town for Luke's moms birthday (at her house actually!) so I didn't get to post this until today...If my brain had been working properly I would have scheduled a post; however, as usual, it wasn't working properly, so my apologies for the late post...ANYHOW, Happy Birthday mom LaVan! Hope it was a good one; and you have many more to come! We Love you!

Vacation- Virginia Beach

On thursday we went to Virginia Beach...We had an absolute blast!! The weather looked like it might rain, but when we got there it didn't...So...that meant we didn't have to contend with "scantily clad" individuals and we had a portion of the beach all to ourselves! The kids, my sister, mom and Jeff (my sister's husband) all waded in, but the rest of them didn't want to get coated in sand for the ride back... We didn't care though! Oh what fun to feel the wind in your face and the waves at your feet! :0)

This is Jerrod (the one yr old)...he wasn't sure what to think! LOL
Me and my mommy
My sweetheart and me! :0)

My mom and Dad---still sweethearts after 30 some years! :0) (sorry I always forget the exact amount of years!) :0)

Vacation- Shenendoah Resort Part 1

We spent one of the days at a Resort in Shenendoah valley and had a blast! There were lots of things for us to do there including horse back riding, volleyball, horseshoes, mini golf. We did what we had time to do and unfortunately had to forego the rest for a later time (hopefully!) :0)
