Here we are, already well into the fall, and what does that mean? You're right! Revival time! We begin revival services with Rev and Mrs Richard Price tomorrow evening (Tuesday, Oct. 27). All are welcome to attend and worship the Lord with us at the King William Allegheny Weslyan Methodist Church! We are trusting the Lord for a good week of soul searching; and spending time in His presence.
We have decided to share our exciting life with those who care to know... So here is where you will find our happenings... Enjoy!

Thank You!
Since this month is Pastor Appreciation month, I would like to say a few words about my "lifelong" pastor and wife--my parents... Even though technically they are no longer my Pastor and wife, I still consider them to be (and probably always will!) :0). They have "pastored" me for most of my life, and in some ways are STILL "pastoring" me even now. Whenever I need advice or council, especially now that we are in the ministry ourselves, I know that they are only a phone call away. There have been many times that I have had to go to them for advice on what to do in a situation, and they are always there to listen and support in prayer. I am so blessed to have both parents and a "pastor and wife" in one couple! They are the best! I love you mom and dad! Thank you for the wonderful example that you have set before me!

My Favorite Little Workers
My niece and nephew--Jessica & Jeffery have a "business". They are very good little workers and do all the work themselves. They collect up pop cans from their house and memaw and papaw's house (plus, "nana"--me-- brings a few bags when she comes up from Virginia for them of course). Then they load them all up into papaws car and take them to the Recycle place where they get rewarded for their labors! ;0) I just thought these pictures were too cute not to share with you all!

Happy Sweetest Day Family!
Sweetest day is tomorrow, and while it is normally thought of as a holiday for "Sweethearts"; I think it's a good time to let everyone in your family know they are special to you and loved. So today, I've included pictures of all our "immediate" family that we want to let know that we love them!
Lori (Luke's Sister & My favorite Sis-in-Law) :0)
We love you and are glad you are a part of our lives (although distant in miles at this point!) :0)
Keep encouraged as you labor for the Lord in your teaching job!
Jerry (My brother & Luke's favorite Bro-in-Law) :0)
So glad you are part of our family! We love you and are proud of all you've accomplished!! You've always been my favorite brother, don't forget it! :0)

Wish we lived closer to you all so we could watch those "Crumb Crunchers" grow up! :0) We love you all and savor each visit we have with you!
Thank you for all the things you all have done for us. We always know that you are there for us and are backing us up with hours of prayer! We love you bunches!
Thank you both for your support of your children... You're just a phone call away when we just need to chat, and we know you've spent much time in prayer on our behalf. We love you lots!
What a privilege is ours to have a family who loves us and supports us in prayer! We love each one of them and thank the Lord for allowing us to have such a wonderful family! :0)

Happy Columbus Day!
Just for fun, since today is Columbus Day, I have posted this link to a quiz about Columbus. Might be fun to see how much you remember from your history class! :0) When I took the quiz I only got 2 answers correctly (shame on me!). Let me know how you do!

Think they aren't listening?
A couple sunday's ago, the Junior Church lesson was on the fruits of the Spirit and how we need them in our lives...I did an object lesson with fake "seeds" to demonstrate my point. We "planted" the fruits of the spirit, "buried" them in God's Word (the soil), and watered them with "good stuff". We then 'talked" to our seeds to help them to grow (talking to God in prayer). Anyhow, one of our youngest "members" in junior church went home and told her mommy that she needed to plant the fruits of the Spirit. Her mom was trying to figure out exactly what she was talking about and finally the little girl said, "yes mommy, we need to plant them to make us feel better! " LOL She said the seeds were watermelon, strawberry and ice cream flavor. LOL Well... she may not have gotten the entire point of the object lesson, but for a 4 year old I thought that was pretty good! LOL Just an encouraging word to all you children's workers out there--even when you don't THINK they're listening, they seem to somehow absorb at least a little of what your trying to get across! :0) Keep encouraged and remember, your reward is in Heaven!

A Walk in the Park
Recently my husband and I have started walking each day. I have been doing about a mile and a half to start out with, but he usually does at least 1 more mile than me. Usually we just walk in our drive way (7 1/2 laps is 1 1/2 miles) since we live on a main route and cannot safely walk on our road. However, as I'm sure you can understand, that gets a little monotonous! LOL So...the other night we decided to go try out a walking/biking trail in West Point. It was a perfect evening and we found that it is a very nice little trail! Here are a few pictures we took along the way...

New Junior Church Theme!
Friday we changed the theme in our junior church room. The new theme is now "Life's Road Trip: where every day choices affect our daily lives". I may have that slightly different than what she actually called it, but its similar to that anyways! LOL I can't think of it exactly at the moment...Anyhow, Sis Crystal Hodak is our junior church leader and she does a wonderful job of coming up with ideas! She does all the hard work and me and another lady in the church help her out by doing lessons and decorating. As you can see, she does a FANTASTIC job of decorating! :0) She incorporated fall decor into this theme since we're obviously into that time of year.
