Christmas Morning

Christmas morning we opened presents at mom and dad LaVan's before going over to his grandmas for dinner.

Me and Lori got sink mats and decided to act goofy...

Hunter tearing into his presents...just like a little kid...

The Davis Christmas

We spent the earlier part of the week with my family. We had our Christmas with them on tuesday night, and it was so fun to watch the kids tear into their presents!

Jessica got a doctor's dress up kit
Jeffery with all his gear on

oops! Jerrod stole his mommy's phone again! LOL

Me and my sister Jennifer trying out our husbands new hats...LOL

Jeff and Luke with their hats LOL (They are made to look like your hair is sticking up everywhere--my mom couldn't resist getting them for her crazy boys LOL) Jeffery is wearing his new helmet.

The Cassady Family

While at my parents church on Sunday, we enjoyed hearing the Cassady family in the evening service as they sang beautiful Christmas music. It was a precious time of celebrating our Lord's birth! Their two children, Blake and Chloe, sang a few songs with their mom and dad; and Blake played a little Christmas song on the piano.

Chloe sang a song while holding the "Baby Jesus"

Christmas Program at "Home"

Even though we didn't get to have our own Christmas Program as planned, it was a rare privelege to get to see our niece and nephew in their program Sunday morning (after 3 hrs sleep I might add... LOL). Jessica was Mary, and Jeffery was one of the wisemen. They both did a very good job, and we were so proud of them! :0)

Let it snow?

Many of you already know that our trip North for Christmas ended up taking 19 instead of 9 hours. However, I thought I would share some pictures I took along the way...

This was taken while sitting for 5-6 hrs on Rte 66
We were still trying to smile as we SAT for hours on end!!!

Caroling

Last night (wednesday), our church people went caroling. We had a good group of us that went this year. We had 19! Our junior church kids were able to come with us this year so that made things exciting! :0) They always manage to liven things up... We sang at about 4 places (we were planning on more stops, but the people weren't going to be home...); and afterwards everyone, except a few of the kids, came over to the parsonage for some hot chocolate and goodies! A good time was had by all, and we spread a little holiday cheer.

This is the whole group minus me and 3 of the kids
